Pipsqueak LLC ("Pipsqueak," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website pipsqueak.pet and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service to create custom AI-illustrated sticker sheets from your pet photos.

By using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our Service.

Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies only to pipsqueak.pet and services directly operated by Pipsqueak LLC. This policy does not apply to external websites, third-party services, or websites linked from our site, even if those links are provided for your convenience. When you visit third-party websites, they are governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services before providing your information.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Pet photos. When you use our Service, you upload 1–3 photographs of your pet. These photos are transmitted to a third-party generative image AI model to create your custom sticker sheet design. Pet photos may be considered sensitive personal information under applicable privacy laws. If your pet photos incidentally contain identifiable images of human faces, you should not upload them in accordance with our Terms of Service.
• Order and contact information. When you place an order through our secure checkout, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information. Payment details are processed and stored by our e-commerce platform provider; we do not directly store your credit card or payment account numbers.
• Communications. If you contact us at info@pipsqueak.pet, we collect the contents of your message and any information you choose to provide.

Information collected automatically:

• Device and usage information. We collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and interactions with our Service (such as theme selections and design previews).
• Cookies and tracking technologies. We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to track events on our website, including page views, photo uploads, theme selections, sticker sheet generation, cart additions, and checkout initiation. This tracking enables Meta to recognize you across different websites and apps for the purpose of cross-context behavioral advertising. Purchase events are tracked on the checkout confirmation page. This data is shared with Meta for advertising measurement, optimization, and to display relevant ads to you and similar audiences. We also use a content delivery and security provider, which may set cookies for security and performance purposes.
• Rate limiting data. We log your IP address to enforce usage limits (to prevent abuse of our AI generation service) and to maintain service availability. These logs are retained for a limited period and used solely for abuse prevention.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide our Service. Your pet photos are sent to a third-party generative image AI model to create your custom sticker sheet design. We may also temporarily retain uploaded photos and generated designs for internal quality assurance, to monitor and improve the quality of our sticker generation service.
• Fulfill your orders. We share your name and shipping address with our printing and fulfillment partner to print and ship your sticker sheets.
• Process payments. Order payments are processed through our secure checkout platform.
• Communicate with you. We send order confirmations, shipping updates, and respond to your inquiries.
• Improve and protect our Service. We use usage data and rate limiting to maintain performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the customer experience. Our use of this data is based on our legitimate interests in maintaining a secure and high-quality service.
• Advertise and measure performance. Data collected via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API is used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and to show you relevant ads based on your browsing behavior across the web.

3. AI Processing of Your Photos

Pipsqueak uses a third-party generative image AI model to create your sticker sheet designs. When you upload pet photos and select a theme, your photos and theme selection are transmitted to our AI provider's servers for processing. Here is what you should know:

• Our AI provider may retain submitted data (prompts and images) for a limited period for abuse monitoring purposes, in accordance with their terms of service.
• Your photos are not used by our AI provider or Pipsqueak to train AI models. Pipsqueak may temporarily retain uploaded photos and generated designs for internal quality review to ensure our Service produces high-quality results.
• AI-generated sticker designs are created algorithmically and may not perfectly replicate your pet's likeness. Results vary and are not guaranteed.
• Uploaded photos and generated designs may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for internal quality assurance and service improvement. Photos are stored without identifying information linking them to your account or order.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your personal information only with the following categories of recipients, and only as necessary to provide our Service:

Service Providers (processing data on our behalf under written agreements):

• AI Image Generation Provider. Your pet photos and theme selections are sent to our third-party AI provider for image generation. Our AI provider processes this data in accordance with their terms of service.
• E-Commerce Platform Provider. Your order, payment, and contact information is processed through our e-commerce platform provider. Their use of this data is governed by their own privacy policy.
• Printing and Fulfillment Partner. Your name and shipping address are shared with our printing and fulfillment partner to produce and ship your order.
• Content Delivery and Security Provider. Website traffic passes through our content delivery and security provider's network for DNS resolution, content delivery, and security.

Independent Data Controller:

• Meta (Facebook/Instagram). Browsing and purchase event data is shared with Meta as an independent controller through the Meta Pixel and Conversions API for advertising measurement, optimization, and cross-context behavioral advertising. Meta receives this data in its own right and controls its use. See Meta's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes, except as described above regarding Meta's use of data for advertising purposes. If you wish to opt out of this sharing, please see the "Your Privacy Rights" section below.

5. Your Privacy Rights

All customers: You may contact us at info@pipsqueak.pet at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and share; the right to request deletion of your personal information; the right to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (including data shared with Meta); and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. You also have the right to request that we not sell or share your personal information. To exercise these rights, email info@pipsqueak.pet. We will respond within 45 days. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out request for the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: If you are a California resident and wish to opt out of our sharing of your personal information with Meta for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes, please submit your request by emailing info@pipsqueak.pet with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." We will honor your request.

Residents of other U.S. states with privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Montana, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia): You may have similar rights under your state's privacy law, including the right to access, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising. European Union / UK residents (GDPR): If you are located in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and port your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

• Consent: For uploading and processing your pet photos through our AI generation service.
• Contractual necessity: To fulfill orders and provide customer service.
• Legitimate interests: For fraud prevention, service security, abuse prevention, analytics, and service improvement.

6. International Data Transfers

Your personal information, including pet photos, is processed and stored on servers located in the United States. If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data protection laws that may differ from those in the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to countries outside your country of residence. Where applicable, Pipsqueak relies on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission to facilitate lawful data transfers.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

• Pet photos and generated designs: Retained for as long as reasonably necessary for quality assurance and service improvement. Photos are stored without personally identifying metadata.
• Order records: Retained for as long as required by tax and accounting laws (typically 7 years).
• Rate limiting logs: Retained for no more than 48 hours.
• Marketing and analytics data: Retained in accordance with our advertising and e-commerce partners' data retention policies.

8. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit, secure hosting infrastructure, and limited internal access to customer data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach that compromises your information, Pipsqueak will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities as required by applicable law. For residents of the European Union, we will notify you within 72 hours of discovering a breach, unless an exception applies. For U.S. residents, we will provide notification in accordance with applicable state data breach notification laws.

10. Cookie Management

You can manage, disable, or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their preferences or settings menus. Note that disabling cookies may affect your ability to use certain features of our Service. 11. Data Minimization

We are committed to collecting only the personal information necessary to provide our Service and support our legitimate business operations. We do not collect information beyond what is required for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
